The company DINA, S.L. (Desguace Industrial y Naval) is a Redena Group company that currently has the concession and the capacity to perform ship recycling and decontamination tasks as well as ship removal work, both in the Port of Bilbao and in the rest of Spain and Europe.

We have facilities in the Port of Bilbao at our Barakaldo dock in Vizcaya, with a surface area of 5,000 m2, suitable for recycling tasks, consisting of waste collection tanks, a storage workshop for material to be recycled, changing rooms, as well as offices, which are complemented by our machinery park consisting mainly of high-tech mechanical hydraulic shears and other types of auxiliary machinery. All this enables us to recycle boats up to 120 m in length.

The long history of the company in ship recycling, with more than 62 ships recycled since 2003, endows us with a know-how that has facilitated the recent achievement of the specific ISO 30000 ship recycling standard, audited and granted by the Bureau. Veritas. In the same way, we have the ISO 14001 standard certification on our occupational health and safety management system, also granted by Bureau Veritas.
